about me
I have always been a beach girl, and my love of travel and my hometown of Panama City Beach, Florida, has connected me to an interest in communication, tourism growth and development. Growing up in a city that depended on visitors made me value the positive effects marketing and tourism had on my community economically, industrially and socially. This interest led me to pursue a career that allows me to explore tourism development around the country and help with the growth of other communities.
Currently, I am a dedicated student at the University of North Florida, aiming to apply knowledge of public relations and digital marketing to quality work performance. I am a part of the Eta Delta chapter of Delta Gamma at UNF, and through this organization, I have learned many leadership and social skills.
I have a demonstrated history of leadership in video production and the service industry.
For the past six years, I have worked in the hospitality industry as a server at a high-volume seafood restaurant and a five-diamond resort. Through this experience, I have learned how to be hospitable towards customers, multitask, problem solve and work as a team with others. I have worked with Panama City Beach’s conventions and visitors bureau and was selected to produce and participate in two videos showing hidden gems in Panama City Beach, Florida. I enjoy public speaking and developing speeches and presentations.
I am eager to bring an excellent work ethic and high energy to a new work environment.
